I began my yoga journey in San Francisco about 10 years ago. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress in my life and knew I needed to find a way of dealing with it. I started going to yoga classes and noticed a change almost immediately. I felt calmer and more confident, kinder to both myself and others. I’ve seen the positive effect yoga has had not just on me, but on others and I truly believe it can benefit anyone.
After many years of practicing yoga in different cities and studios, I found a studio that I really loved with instructors I felt a strong connection to and respect for. I'd never really considered teaching before, but suddenly it just made sense and felt like the next natural step in my yoga journey. I enrolled in yoga teacher training at REACH Yoga in San Diego and completed the program in March 2024. My hope is that I can share my love of yoga with others, allowing them to experience its life changing benefits while feeling safe and held.
Currently, I am leading the Wellness program, including its yoga initiatives for the Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association in St. Petersburg, Florida.
